About The Position
Assisting Hands Littleton is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client with memory loss, specifically dementia or Alzheimer's. This role is ideal for someone seeking a steady morning schedule and who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with memory-related conditions. The position focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and specialized memory care support to ensure the client has a safe, comfortable, and engaging start to their day.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience required in a facility or for an in-home care agency.
- Experience working with clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions (in-home care or a memory care/facility setting).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Driver's license, reliable vehicle & auto insurance.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass background & CAPS checks.
- TB test within 30 days of hire.
- Three professional references.
- A calm, patient, compassionate personality with excellent communication skills.
