About The Position

Assisting Hands Littleton is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client living with memory loss. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's, either in a memory care community or through in-home care. The position offers a steady morning schedule and the opportunity to make a significant difference in someone's life. The primary focus will be on assisting the client with personal care, morning routines, providing companionship, and offering memory care support with patience and reassurance. The caregiver will also engage the client in activities that promote comfort and independence, bringing a kind and calm presence to support both the client and their family.

Requirements

At least 1 year of caregiving experience required in a facility or for an in-home care agency.
Experience working with clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions (in-home care or a memory care/facility setting).
High school diploma or GED.
Driver's license, reliable vehicle & auto insurance.
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass background & CAPS checks.
Three professional references.
TB test within 30 days of hire.
A calm, patient, compassionate personality with excellent communication skills.
