About The Position

Iris Memory Care of Nichols Hills is looking for a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join their team. This role involves providing hands-on, compassionate care to seniors living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia in a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 57 residents. The community is designed to feel like home for both residents and staff, fostering a close-knit environment where team members know every resident. As an age-in-place community, CNAs will care for residents across the full spectrum of dementia-related diseases.

Requirements

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents
• Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
• Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
