Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)- 2nd shift- 12 hours
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) delivers individualized care in accordance with each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and preserving dignity, and reports changes in resident health status to the clinical team. The CNA builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families and participates in ongoing learning and development. The position is full-time, working a 2nd shift of 12 hours, at Brookstone Estates of Mattoon North in Mattoon, Illinois. The listed hourly salary range is $15.00–$17.00.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a positive experience.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
