Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) position at Green Oaks of Park Forest involves delivering exceptional and individualized care according to each resident’s care plan. Responsibilities include assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity, and reporting any changes in resident health status to the clinical team. The role emphasizes compassionate interaction with residents and their families to create positive experiences. CNAs are expected to engage in continuous learning through educational seminars and staff meetings, and to comply with all rules and regulations regarding resident confidentiality and privacy. This is a full-time position with a salary of $17.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
