Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)- 1st shift
About The Position
Heritage Woods of Belvidere is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for the 1st shift. This role involves delivering exceptional and individualized care to residents, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity. The CNA will report changes in resident health status to the clinical team, connect compassionately with residents and families, and engage in continuous learning opportunities. Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations is essential. This position offers a salary range of $17.25 - $18.25 per hour.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
