Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) - 1st shift
About The Position
This full-time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) position is for the 1st shift, located in Sterling, IL. The role involves delivering exceptional and individualized care to residents based on their care plans, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity, and reporting any changes in resident health status to the clinical team. A key aspect of the role is to connect with residents and family members compassionately to create positive experiences. The CNA is also expected to engage in continuous learning through educational seminars and staff meetings, and to strictly comply with all rules and regulations regarding resident confidentiality and privacy.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
