About The Position

Eventide Lincoln is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for a day shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (12 hours), with an every-third-weekend and holiday rotation. The CNA assists with residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs by following established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

Requirements

• Active CNA license in the state of Nebraska.

Nice To Haves

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring or ambulation, and continence.
• Assist with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follow department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritize assignments and adjust throughout the shift to address changing or overlapping needs of seniors, clients, caregivers, team members, managers, and call lights.
• Perform work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of team member preference.
• Follow the comprehensive care plan or service plan developed for each senior or client.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and safeguard protected health information at all times.
