About The Position

Eventide Lincoln Care Center is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a day shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The position works an every-third-weekend and holiday rotation. The CNA helps meet residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs by following established nursing care procedures under the supervision, guidance, and teaching of the supervisor in charge.

The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, supporting admissions and transitions, completing required documentation, adjusting priorities as needs change, following individual care plans, and safeguarding protected health information. The starting pay range is $18.00–$20.16 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions and depend on employment status and shift worked.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold an active CNA license in the state of Nebraska.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring or ambulation, and continence.
• Assist with senior/client admissions, discharges, and transfers, and help orient new employees.
• Follow department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritize assignments and adjust them throughout the shift to meet changing or overlapping needs, including responding to call lights when necessary.
• Perform duties within the assigned work environment as assigned by Eventide.
• Follow each individual’s comprehensive care plan or service plan.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and safeguard protected health information at all times.
