About The Position

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including serving meals, feeding, bathing, ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Maintain patient stability and record patient intake and output.
• Provide comfort and care using available resources and materials.
• Transport patients and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report observations about patients to the nurse supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain work operations by following proper policies and procedures.
• Adhere to professional standards and federal, state, and local standards.
• Participate in required educational activities.
• Provide a warm and caring attitude toward assigned patients and residents.
