About The Position
Alta Vista Rehabilitation in Brownsville TX is looking for CNAs (Certified Nurse's Aide) for all shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) or part time or PRN. The facility focuses on providing exceptional care and service, working together to create a sense of community. Requirements
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.
Nice To Haves
- Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate resident care as necessary or as directed by the licensed nurse
- Assists residents in activities of daily living (ADLs) and documents in medical record
- Answers resident call lights promptly
