Certified Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Through our 12-nursing home, 10 assisted living, and 8 independent living communities encompassing nearly 2,000 beds, we provide exceptional health care services, including; long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. As a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a Grace Management Services facility, you will perform initial and follow-up patient visits, diagnose and treat patients as clinically appropriate, consult with physicians, order and interpret labs, x-rays, or other diagnostic testing, and prescribe clinically appropriate medication for patients.
Requirements
- Must have an active Registered Nurse license
- Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)
- Must have or be eligible for the Certificate to Prescribe Externship (CTP-E)
- Candidates should also have or be willing to get a DEA number.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and follow-up patient visits as appropriate.
- Diagnose and treat patients as clinically appropriate and consult with physicians
- Order and interpret labs, x-rays, or other diagnostic testing as appropriate for patients.
- Prescribe clinically appropriate medication for patients (subject to having your Certificate to Prescribe, DEA number, or CTP-E).
