Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Master's degree in area of specialty, certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (CRNP/PA), and state authority for advanced practice. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
