About The Position

The Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) delivers high-quality, patient-centered healthcare across diverse clinical settings under the supervision of the Medical Director. The position plans, directs, and evaluates clients in the AoD residential components. The CNP works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective care. The role also includes educating patients and families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options to support informed decision-making. The CNP contributes to community health by providing compassionate, evidence-based care and advocating for patient needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Certified Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state or region.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program with a focus on advanced practice.
• Prescriptive Authority.
• Certification from a nationally recognized certifying body, such as the ANCC or AANP.
• Minimum of five years of experience in treatment, AoD, or Dual Disorder.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in AoD and Dual Diagnosis Disorder.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Additional certifications in areas such as pharmacology, pain management, or chronic disease management.
• Strong background in patient education and community health outreach.
• Participation in research, quality improvement projects, or professional nursing organizations.
