The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) Program Director/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Residence. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track position within the MSN program. The Program Director will provide vital leadership for the CNM Program track, overseeing its planning, implementation, evaluation, and management. Responsibilities include advising students, orienting and mentoring faculty, developing and evaluating clinical sites, and ensuring the program's viability, quality, and compliance. The role also involves strategic planning, recruitment and marketing, academic advising, designing and delivering expert instruction, identifying clinical preceptors and sites, maintaining program records, completing accreditation reports, articulating faculty needs, participating in curriculum development, collecting and analyzing program evaluation data, recommending faculty hires, supervising clinical instructors, and serving as a role model for scholarship. The position requires active practice as a CNM and maintaining specialty certification credentials. Classes are offered year-round in a trimester sequence. This position is based in Las Vegas and requires on-site work across UNLV campuses and clinical locations.
