About The Position

Full scope independent nurse midwifery practice that includes obstetrical and gynecological care. Collaborating with obstetricians, neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients. Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and care plans. Participating in community outreach and education programs related to women's health and midwifery care. Ability to meet practice needs.

Requirements

• APRN or FPA Licensure in the State of IL required
• Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
• Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) - American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) Required
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA)
• NRP certification required (AHA)

Nice To Haves

• 3 Years’ Experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife in a clinical setting preferred
• Fluency in Spanish or Urdu highly preferred
