About The Position
WOMEN Obstetrics & Gynecology is growing and seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join their dedicated team. The role involves providing full-scope midwifery care, including gynecologic, contraceptive, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary healthcare services. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive health assessments, collaborating with physicians and clinical staff, managing deliveries and admissions, and maintaining documentation according to best practices and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with current Tennessee RN and APRN licensure.
- AMCB certification and active DEA/Controlled Substance License.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in obstetrics or women’s health preferred; new graduates welcome with mentorship support.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care including gynecologic, contraceptive, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary healthcare services.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
- Manage deliveries, admissions, and inpatient rounding within scope of practice.
- Maintain documentation and care plans consistent with best practices and regulatory standards.
