About The Position
Mid America Physician Services (MAPS), an affiliate of Unified Women's Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a well-established women's healthcare practice located on the campus of Centerpoint Medical Center. The practice includes six OB/GYN physicians, one women's health nurse practitioner, and one certified nurse midwife. The office is connected to the hospital campus, where deliveries and surgeries are performed. Centerpoint Medical Center is a high-volume regional medical center with a Level III NICU, robotic-assisted surgery, and comprehensive women's healthcare support. The role offers a four-day work week with a dedicated day off. Call is shared between physicians and the CNM and is taken from home. The CNM will work in a collaborative practice environment with access to women's health specialty support, mentorship, and career development opportunities. The practice offers clinical autonomy, dedicated operational and practice support, and the resources of a national OB/GYN network while retaining local practice autonomy. The position is based near Lee's Summit and Blue Springs, with access to downtown Kansas City and area amenities. MAPS is affiliated with Unified Women's Healthcare, which supports more than 925 practices and 2,700 providers nationwide.
Requirements
- AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife.
- Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME).
- Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN).
- Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license.
- CPR and NALS certification.
- Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.

- One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred.
Responsibilities
