About The Position
Northern Dutchess Hospital, located in Rhinebeck, New York, is seeking an additional Per Diem Certified Nurse Midwife to join their established and growing employed practice. The group currently consists of four board-certified physicians and certified nurse midwives. The primary office is located in a suite at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, with a secondary office across the Hudson River in Kingston. Deliveries take place at The Neugarten Family Birth Center at Northern Dutchess Hospital, which offers a safe, holistic, and family-centered birthing experience with advanced medical and surgical offerings. The Birthing Center provides a single-room birthing experience where mothers labor, deliver, recover, and stay in one room with their baby.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Well-trained and caring demeanor
- Desire to work in a small-town setting
Responsibilities
- Provide care as a Certified Nurse Midwife within the established practice.
- Deliveries at The Neugarten Family Birth Center at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
