About The Position

Fairview is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a collaborative, supportive team and provide full-scope, individualized, patient-centered care across the reproductive lifespan. The team emphasizes birth equity, birth justice, whole-person care, honoring patient preferences, and building trusting relationships. CNMs practice with a high degree of independence in partnership with OB/GYN colleagues, doulas, and the broader care team. This is a 0.8 FTE opportunity described as full-time, with a flexible schedule and 64 hours per pay period. The established team includes seven Certified Nurse Midwives. Care includes prenatal and postpartum care, gynecologic and preventive care, acute gynecologic concerns, comprehensive reproductive health, and perimenopause and menopause care. There are opportunities to support waterbirth and hydrotherapy. The practice uses Epic and provides employer-paid Nabla AI clinical documentation support. The CNM assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients’ health needs; develops individualized care plans; prescribes and orders appropriate treatments and services; coordinates and refers care; and communicates with patients and families. The role also contributes to clinic operations, staff support and training, community and professional education, regulatory readiness, and quality and access initiatives.
