About The Position
Adena Health System is seeking a Certified Midwife to join an established Ob/Gyn practice in Chillicothe, Ohio. The practice has 10 physicians and 7 CNMS. Providers perform deliveries at one location, Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe Ohio. The practice has Anesthesia on-site 24/7. The ideal candidate will have Women’s Health, or Labor and Delivery experience, either as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or as a Registered Nurse (RN). This is a full-time employed position within the multi-specialty Adena Medical Group. The position offers generous benefits and a highly competitive compensation package.
Requirements
- Women’s Health, or Labor and Delivery experience
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Responsibilities
- Provide care to women age 12 and up in office setting for common complaints including: well woman care, contraception, infection testing and treatment, etc.
- Care for women throughout the regions of southern Ohio that Adena serves
- Round and manage patients on labor and delivery and mother infant unit.
- Triage pregnant patients 16 weeks and above and admit as indicated.
- Manage labor and deliver patients according to current privileges and scope of practice.
- Answer patient calls after hours.
- Review labs for partners that are out of office.
