The University of Colorado College of Nursing is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM)/Instructor in the Clinical Practice Track for a 0.75 FTE benefits-eligible position with its CU Center for Midwifery (CFM) faculty practice in Longmont, Colorado. This is a full scope position including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, well woman and gynecological care. This position is clinically based as a health care provider, and includes an instructor level, clinical practice track appointment within the College of Nursing. The CU Center for Midwifery at Longmont is a private practice model that works collaboratively with the OB/GYN physicians on staff. The practice provides full-scope midwifery care to patients at an outpatient clinic in Longmont and UCH Boulder with inpatient services at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital. CFM believes that patients benefit from personalized and comprehensive care that focuses on the patient while including the family in the plan of care. We serve women who desire an alternative labor and birth experience with a water birth and nitrous oxide option.
