About The Position
South Ogden Post Acute is hiring a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care for residents who need ongoing medical and personal support. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, supporting residents’ comfort and safety, and communicating changes in their condition to nursing staff. The facility provides 24/7 resident care. Hands-on training is tailored to the employee’s experience level, and the position offers an opportunity to develop skills and advance a healthcare career.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to resident call lights.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Safely reposition and support residents to maintain comfort and help prevent injury.
- Monitor and document food and fluid intake when needed.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Build respectful, supportive relationships with residents.
