About The Position
At the Suites of Someren Glen, Certified Nurse Assistants are essential members of the Nursing Team, contributing to care planning and delivering individualized care. CNAs support residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living while attending to their social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical needs. The role is intended for a team-oriented person with a passion for working with older adults. Opportunities are available to grow as a CNA or use the position as a step toward nursing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License.
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Three to six months of experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care or memory care and a passion for working with older adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with daily hygiene care, maintaining dignity and respect.
- Learn residents’ preferences and personalize their care.
- Document care accurately and promptly report changes or concerns to appropriate team members.
- Follow safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
- Keep the supervisor updated on each resident’s status and condition.
- Support the team with other duties as needed.
