About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is for the Transitional Care Unit (TCU) at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Haverhill, MA, which is a 20-bed unit. The role involves continuously monitoring and observing patients to ensure their needs are met promptly. CNAs will assist patients with activities of daily living, tailored to their culture, age, and developmental level. They will also perform tasks and tests delegated by the registered nurse, reporting and recording data as necessary, including advanced skills when deemed competent. A key responsibility is to report any observed changes in patients' condition or behavior, as well as any unusual incidents.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified nursing assistant in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
