About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for its inpatient Hemodialysis Unit at Edgewood Hospital. The role is listed as full-time, 30 hours per week, with a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN, including helping patients with activities of daily living and personal care, providing comfort, and helping maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Requirements
- Certified in the state where the work is performed as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of the Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry.
- Must have CPR for the professional rescuer.
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
- Successful work employment history.
