About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for its inpatient Hemodialysis Unit at Edgewood Hospital. The role provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. The position is scheduled for 30 hours per week, with a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. shift. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care and comfort, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Requirements
- Be certified in the state where the work is performed as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Read and communicate effectively in English.
- Complete applicable state courses.
- Successfully complete the Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not be listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry.
- Have CPR certification for the professional rescuer.
- Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
- Have a successful work employment history.
