About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide to join its compassionate care team at skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. The role supports residents during their healthcare journey by assisting with daily living, providing companionship and emotional support, monitoring health, and encouraging recreational and therapeutic activities. Day shifts are available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to support residents’ health and daily routines.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
