About The Position

Pinnacle Specialty Care is a 100-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide to support residents in their healthcare journey. This full-time, first-shift position includes working every other weekend and offers a competitive hourly rate plus shift differential.

The CNA provides assistance with daily living activities, emotional support, companionship, routine health monitoring, and resident activities. The role works in coordination with residents, families, and the healthcare team and follows infection-control protocols to help maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

• Hold an active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa or be able to activate certification.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Have a compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to support residents’ health and daily routines.
• Follow infection-control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
