About The Position

The Nursing Department on the Manhattan Campus is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for 22.5 hours per shift. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA provides direct resident/patient care and assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) to help residents attain the highest possible level of functioning and maximize their independence. This opening is for the day shift, listed as 7:30 am to 3:30 am. CNAs are required to work every other weekend.

Requirements

• Current certification in the NYS Commissioner of Health Nurse Aide Registry.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident/patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist residents/patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) to support their functioning and independence.
• Work every other weekend.
