About The Position
The Nursing Department on the Manhattan Campus is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Aide for the day shift. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA provides direct resident/patient care and assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to help residents or patients attain the highest possible level of functioning and maximize their independence. The day shift is 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CNAs should be able to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current certification in the New York State Commissioner of Health Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- One year of long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
