About The Position

Meadowview Regional Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for its Medical Surgical Unit. The CNA supports inpatient care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures, working collaboratively with nurses, patient care technicians, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care. The role focuses on assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring and documenting vital signs, supporting safe mobility, reporting changes in condition, and maintaining patient comfort and a clean, safe care environment. The position is full-time, with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Kentucky Certified Nursing Assistant License.
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• CNA or EMT experience/qualification preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Support patient mobility by safely transferring, repositioning, and ambulating patients.
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort, and keep the care environment clean and safe in accordance with facility protocols.
