About The Position
BAYADA is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for its Assistive Care team. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the CNA provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one support with activities of daily living and building close relationships with clients. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour. Responsibilities
- Follow a written plan of care provided by a registered nurse.
- Provide personal care, household support, and companion care to adults in their homes.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
