About The Position
As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our skilled nursing community, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
Requirements
- Must have a current and valid Michigan Certification for Nursing Assistants (CNA).
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions.
- Ability to perform job-related duties which may require lifting, standing, bending, transferring, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing and pulling.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing direct care to the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support residents during mealtimes to ensure they enjoy their meals and stay hydrated.
- Assist with resident mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
- Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
- Maintain resident rooms to be tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
- Respond to call lights promptly and with kindness and compassion.
- Report any changes in resident conditions to leadership immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality while delivering care and demonstrate respect and professionalism.
