CNA 1st Shift - Weekends Only!
About The Position
Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 5-star rated nursing home providing compassionate care to older adults since 1943, is seeking talented and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a weekend-only, 1st shift position. This role offers the opportunity to work every Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 3 pm, with time and a half pay for all weekend hours. As a CNA, you will help maintain high standards of care for our residents by providing professional, compassionate, and person-centered care, assisting with daily needs, encouraging participation in therapies and activities, and providing excellent customer service in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current PA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA Certification)
- Genuine concern for the needs of older adults
- Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers
- Must be able to work every Saturday and every Sunday from 7 am to 3 pm
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening

Responsibilities
- Providing professional, compassionate care to our residents
- Maintaining a person-centered, homelike environment while following the resident care profile, and care plan
- Carrying out written, oral and diagram instructions while meeting the total health needs of the resident
- Assists residents during meal times
- Encourages and motivates residents to participate in therapies and activities
- Provide friendly, timely and responsive customer service to all
