About The Position

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) – Med Surg position at Meadowview Regional Medical Center is a PRN role requiring 12-hour shifts as needed. The Medical Surgical Unit team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality inpatient care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures. As a key part of our acute care services, our nurses, patient care technicians, providers, and interdisciplinary teams work collaboratively to deliver safe, patient-centered care while promoting positive outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Current Kentucky Certified Nursing Assistant License
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• CNA or EMT preferred
• At least 1 year of experience as a CNA is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight
• Support patient mobility by transferring, repositioning, and ambulating patients safely
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain patient hygiene, comfort, and a clean, safe care environment in accordance with facility protocols
