About The Position
ProHealth Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for their Rehabilitation unit. This state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital is a partnership between ProHealth Care and Lifepoint Rehabilitation. They focus on meeting the growing rehabilitation needs of the region by providing customized, individualized rehabilitation for patients recovering from various conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The hospital aims to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of its patients through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Requirements
- Completion of course for nursing assistants
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
- CPR/BCLS certification required within 7 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists nursing staff with patients’ personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living.
- Performs more complex duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
