About The Position

Advanced Orthopedic Center is seeking a Certified MRI Technologist to join its fast-paced, patient-focused team in a private orthopedic office setting. The role performs diagnostic MRI procedures, operates MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation, and supports patient safety and care throughout the imaging process. The technologist also maintains records, manages image archiving and transmission to PACS, and may assist physicians and the clinical team with additional patient-care tasks.

Requirements

• Certified MRI Technologist; ARRT MRI credential preferred or eligibility accepted.
• Licensed in the State of Florida.
• Proficient in operating MRI equipment and related technology.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in an MRI setting.
• Orthopedic experience.
• IV certification and contrast administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI imaging procedures on patients in a private orthopedic office setting.
• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
• Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Screen patients for contraindications and follow MRI safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed.
• Ensure MRI images are properly archived and transmitted to PACS.
• Function as a clinical assistant to physicians as needed.
• Collect patient history and document it in the EMR.
• As needed, assist with pre- and post-scan patient care, prepare contrast materials, and support the clinical team with minor procedures.
