About The Position
Heritage Village is recruiting a hospitality-focused Med Tech to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The role supports residents’ daily living, independence, health, and engagement. A full-time shift is available from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The listed pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold current CNA/Med Tech certification valid in Virginia.
- Be willing to be available for any or all emergencies regarding the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and family and social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
- Identify medical and behavioral changes in residents; develop and monitor care plans; and reassess each resident.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
- Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
