About The Position

Aspire Senior Living Advance, a skilled nursing facility in Advance, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Technician (CMT). The CMT is a member of the healthcare staff and helps provide high-quality care and services to residents. The position is full-time and day shift.

Requirements

• Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification, or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on resident-centered care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education in healthcare or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering medications to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to licensed nurses and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medication administration records and records of resident trends.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized resident care plans.
• Provide customer service and support to residents, families, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
