About The Position
Certified Medication Technicians partner with licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, organize, and carry out resident care plans. The role provides medication administration and supports residents with activities of daily living in an assisted living setting.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Certified Medication Aide credential from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications.
- Assist residents with daily living activities in assisted living.
- Provide resident care and report resident information and needs to the charge nurse.
- Answer resident calls and requests for assistance.
- Serve food and beverages to support proper resident nutrition.
- Assist residents with mobility and transport activities.
- Collaborate with other health care team members to enhance resident care.
- Perform regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicate with team members to support resident safety and satisfaction while providing excellent customer service.
