About The Position

Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for its evening shift team at a skilled nursing facility. The CMT supports residents’ health and well-being by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities. The role works with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and uphold the facility’s standards for quality care and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in the state of Missouri.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting, preferably focused on medication administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely according to residents’ individual care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulating.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of resident care and medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Uphold the facility’s standards of quality care and resident satisfaction.
