Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders, the Medication Administration Record (MAR), and facility policies.
- Document all medication administration and related activities, including doses given, refusals, and timing, in the resident record in a timely and compliant manner.
- Monitor residents for medication effects and changes in condition, and immediately report concerns to licensed nursing staff.
