About The Position

Touchmark at Harwood Groves is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to care for residents in its assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. The role focuses on providing residents with dignity and care, being a positive presence for residents and their families, and supporting residents using the Best Friend’s Approach to dementia care. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, compassionate, committed to customer satisfaction and Touchmark’s values, and interested in caring for older adults in a geriatric environment.

Requirements

• Hold a current North Dakota Certified Medication Aide (CMA) license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Be committed to 100% customer satisfaction.
• Be trustworthy and compassionate, and demonstrate a commitment to Touchmark’s values.
• Be committed to confidentiality and continued learning and skill improvement.
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friend’s Approach to dementia care.
• Model Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion, and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers.
• Maintain patient and tactful composure when interacting with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
• Protect confidentiality and continue learning and improving skills.
