About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide or Level 1 Medication Aide to join our team in a senior assisted living community. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring residents for side effects, and providing support with daily care. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements
Active CMA certification in good standing
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
Clear communication skills and professionalism

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations
Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered
Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required
Support team members by providing assistance as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas
Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested
