About The Position

Priority Management is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support residents at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, Texas. The role involves administering medications according to specified procedures, monitoring residents and recording vital signs and intake and output, and responding to resident needs. The care team is described as providing care with dedication and compassion.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Hold a current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verify the identity of residents receiving medication and record the drug name, dosage, and administration time on designated forms or records.
• Present medication to residents and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
• Monitor residents for responses to medications and prepare a report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Take and record temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answer signal lights, bells, or the intercom system to determine residents’ needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
