About The Position
Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for its Memory Care team. The role provides personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents, while helping them with activities of daily living and encouraging participation in community activities. The aide observes changes in residents’ routines and personal care needs and works with the nurse to update each resident’s care plan.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medication Aide certification in New Jersey, or Medication Technician certification in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Rhode Island.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Notice changes in residents’ day-to-day routines and personal care needs, and work with the nurse to update their Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities.
