About The Position

Mosaic is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer routine medications to the people it serves as directed by prescribing physicians and provide support as requested by a supervisor. The role includes documenting medication administration and errors, managing medication inventory and labeling, and observing and responding to signs of illness or injury. CMA certification is required, but training is available for applicants who do not have it. The position is full-time, with day and evening shifts, including weekends.

Requirements

CMA certification; training is available for applicants who do not have it.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Administer medications as directed by prescribing physicians and in accordance with state certification, company policy, and CMA standards.
Document daily medication administration and notify appropriate personnel of medication errors.
Monitor medication inventory, dispose of expired medications, and log new and refilled medications to ensure accurate counts.
Monitor the assigned home's inventory to ensure medications are properly labeled.
Detect, document, and address signs of illness or injury that warrant medical or nursing intervention, and provide first aid according to approved training as needed.
Provide support as requested by the supervisor.
