About The Position

Iris Memory Care of NW OKC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) for their memory care community. This is a freestanding assisted living community with 48 residents, specializing in care for individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. The community emphasizes a small team environment where staff can make a significant impact and build close relationships with residents.

Requirements

Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
Current Certified Medication Aide certification (required)
High school diploma or GED required
At least 18 years of age
Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents
Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, compassionate care to help residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and community protocols.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights.
Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
