About The Position

Iris Memory Care of NW OKC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) for their memory care assisted living community. This community has 48 residents and focuses on providing compassionate, hands-on care to individuals living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. The role involves administering medications, assisting residents with daily living activities, supporting enrichment programs, maintaining a clean environment, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support while upholding resident dignity and independence.

Requirements

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• Current Certified Medication Aide certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents
• Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and community protocols
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment
• Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families
• Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times
